The UP NMMS official website is being updated, and students are encouraged to follow official updates. Meanwhile, students in Class 8 should be aware that general category candidates must have achieved at least 55% in Class 7, while reserved category students must have scored 50% in the prior class. According to the Ministry of Education’s rules, students’ household income should not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh per year. The official website will shortly announce the final date for UP NMMS registration 2023, the admit card release date, and the exam date.

Students who are chosen will get a stipend of Rs 12,000 every year from Class 9 to Class 12. According to the test schedule, students will be required to take two papers. The first paper is the Mental Ability Test (MAT), and the second is the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Each exam paper will have 90 questions, and students will have one and a half hours to complete it.

The Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority has begun the registration process for the Uttar Pradesh NMMS Scholarship, which will begin on August 23, 2023. UP NMMS scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

This Scheme is open to students studying in the 8th class in government, local body and government-aided schools. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must have achieved a minimum of 55% marks (equivalent grade) in the class 7th examination in order to appear in the selection test for the award of the scholarship. The student must be enrolled as a regular student in the government, local body or government-aided school. The student’s parent income must not exceed Rs.3,50,000/year.

A parental income certificate issued by the Chandigarh Administration must be attached to the application form for the scholarship. Students enrolled in Kendriya Vidyalaya(KVS) and JNV will not be eligible for the NMMS Scholarship. For the continuation of the scholarship in the upper secondary school, a minimum of 60% marks (equivalent to Class 10 board exam) must be achieved in the first attempt. A 5% relaxation of marks is granted to SC/ST Students.
