Upcoming Adventure Bikes: Since the Hero Xpulse 200, RE Himalayan 411, and KTM 390 and 250 Adv series were well received, the dual-purpose adventure touring market has grown in popularity. Adding to the momentum, the following is a comprehensive list of new adventure bikes that are now awaiting release:
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Upcoming Adventure Bikes: Before the new Himalayan 450 hits other markets, Royal Enfield will make the official pricing announcement in India on November 24. A 452 cc Sherpa engine producing 40.02 PS and 40 Nm powers the dual-purpose explorer tourer. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Compared to the previous 411, its design is more evolutionary, with innovations like ride-by-wire throttle, a TFT panel with Google Maps integration, switchable ABS, USD front forks, and a mono-shock rear suspension.
Triumph Tiger 400
Upcoming Adventure Bikes: Bajaj/Triumph is rumored to introduce a whole new model each year and has introduced two motorcycles in short succession. Given the existing Scrambler 400X’s capabilities and the 398 cc liquid-cooled engine, we predict the arrival of a full-fledged adventure touring vehicle to compete with the KTM 390 Adventure X and the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

KTM 390 Adventure
Upcoming Adventure Bikes: It is more likely that the 2024 MY 390 Adventure with its two new colour schemes and updated graphics will go on sale in the upcoming months. It is anticipated that the 373 cc liquid-cooled engine would not undergo any mechanical modifications. We will have to wait and watch when the 390 Adv receives a similar makeover. The Austrian company recently unveiled the new-generation 390 Duke and 250 Duke, which included significant improvements on the mechanical and design fronts.
Hero Xpulse 400 & Xpulse 210
Upcoming Adventure Bikes: Hero MotoCorp looks to be developing a flagship Xpulse, which might be powered by a 420 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine or the same unit as the X440, to compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure. Hero is also working on the next-generation Xpulse, and it appears that road testing has recently commenced.
